Richland Chambers Lake Texas
In 2008 there were 19 or more fishing tournaments at Richland Chambers in Texas. Our city has recently done financial studies on this to see how much money these tournaments bring to our communtiy. They say that approx. 1.14 Million dollars was brought to Navarro County by these events. This is a huge positive ecomonic impact for the Navarro County ad surrounding areas.
In 2009 the Corsicana Texas area is trying to negotiate more fishing venues to head this way. Richland Chambers Lake has a great mixture of recreational boating and sport fishing for the Texas Lake enthusiast. The lake has been stocked nearly every year with Florida strain Largemouth Bass. In 2008 TPWD estimated over 500,000 Bass were imported into Richland Chambers.
